I am your guide to eating better, moving better, and feeling better.
In addition to being a health coach, I'm also an accounting manager for a construction company just outside of Austin, Texas. I understand the stress of being a working professional with a family and what it's like to be a woman with health goals and also with hormonal issues (due to surgical menopause at age 27) and what it can do to your mind and body.
I also understand that most women begin their health journey with the idea that they are flawed. We have been lead to believe that we are broken. I believe that you are the only one who gets to decide how you should be and that your health should not be based on the number on the scale or the size of your clothes, but rather how you feel about yourself and how you treat your body.
I focus on showing women how to create healthier habits to improve overall health with food and exercise as well as building healthier relationships with themselves, and we do this one step at a time. I help you create an owner's manual for your life based on your needs and your goals. When you make these changes, you may lose weight, and you may start fitting into smaller clothes. My goal as a coach is to help you control the behavior that gets you to the outcome you desire.
I have, and sometimes still do, struggle with my own body-image and self-worth. I spent years in gyms, boot camps, CrossFit, and trying strict and crazy diets. I've hidden from the camera and under baggy clothes. I've put in a lot of work to change my habits, and that work came with the help of a coach. I wouldn't be where I am today without a coach in my corner, and it inspired me to become a coach myself. I'm committed to being an example for my family and other women.
I live in Central Texas with my husband, our three teenage children, a bearded dragon, and our adorable Yorkie, Lilly.
